I am sure I have blogged about this room before, and every spring it transforms itself into my favorite room. It is compact, and I have a lot of things going on:
I have my small garden of three tomato plants. I take after my Granny, I have to grow vegetables 🙂
This is where I plant my herbs in pots — and I have the parsley going strong, although the butterflies don't usually start visiting until mid-summer. There is also mint, oregano, basil and chives.
I also have lots of pots with all types of flowers, and love my blue heron 🙂 The fence is to keep Annie from laying in the flower beds. (She can pretty much jump over it, though).
More pots and flowers, and some of my pots still need flowers, and I take my time and pick the right ones.
I love how this climbing hydrangea is filling in the lattice.
More pots and plants on the steps leading to the house.
The outside eating area, and I enjoy my meals out here as often as possible in good weather.
The clematis are blooming now as well. I just love this time of year, and being outside enjoying my favorite room.
