My Summer Manifesto

DSC_6784LR

Ali Edwards wrote a post about her summer manifesto in a recent post, and challenged her readers to creatone one as well, and Elise Blaha stepped up to the challenge.  I thought that was a great idea, and have created my own manifesto for the summer of 2012:

  • Practice gentle self care;
  • Spend LOTS of time on my patio bird watching and enjoying the weather;
  • Grill out more often;
  • Explore the Chesapeake Bay;
  • Take photographs of the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds with their wings frozen;
  • Go on more picnics;
  • Go camping more than once;
  • Photograph the ponies of Assateague;
  • Host Camp Kathy;
  • Try new recipes;
  • Go to the beach;
  • Go to the pool;
  • Reconnect with old friends.

I am sure there are other things I've forgotten, but I'll include them on my list as I think of more things.

Have a great weekend everyone!
