My niece celebrated her fifth birthday over the weekend. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. My other niece, who is 10, made the birthday cake, which I thought was so sweet.
I've been busy making stuff and forgetting to photograph it before I give it away, which was the case with my niece's birthday present. She loved the mini book I made for her mom at the beach so much, I made her a little book of her own.
The theme of the birthday party was fairy princesses, and every fairy princess needs a wand, so I made a couple:
The summer is quickly winding down. The kids in my county go back to school one week from today. My high school reunion is on Saturday — I can't believe how long it's been since I graduated from high school. The time has gone by so fast. It will be interesting to catch up with people and see what they've been up to.
Now it's off to tackle my rather large "to do" list for this week.
