Enjoy the slide show of photos I took in Rock Creek Park.

I haven’t been to Rock Creek Park at all as an adult.  My parents may have taken me there when I was a kid, but I don’t remember it.  It was an enchanting place, right in the middle of Washington, DC.

A good friend, Carolyn, and I drove down there yesterday.  We are kindred photography spirits.  We both allow the other to explore, photograph, and photograph yet some more, without any pressure, such as, “Are you done yet?”

The fall colors are just beginning to settle in at the park, it wasn’t crowded, and we were able to take our time, and enjoy being in nature, right in the middle of Washington, DC.  We both brought a picnic lunch, and sat and enjoyed the beautiful fall day.

I hope to do more of this day trippin’ photography with Carolyn in the near future.

This is truly art therapy at its finest.

    Kathy,
Sharing the day photographing was like a “burden remover”!
    Thank you!
