Documenting a Day in the Life

This is the week of Camp Kathy, and yesterday was the first day of Ali Edwards's Week in the Life Project.  I participated in the project once in 2008, and it was interesting to see how my life played out then.  I am documenting this week because it is a special time that I get to spend with my nieces, and I want them to have a record of what we did, but also to document this moment in their lives as well in very great detail (or as much as an aunt suddenly in charge of two children can be).

Yesterday, we spent the day at the pool, doing crafts, and going to a baseball game:

This was taken at the baseball game.  In between, there was a rain storm that came through that sent us home from the pool early, then making friendship bracelets, drawing, and watching 101 Dalmatians.  Dinner at the ball park consisted of popcorn and a pretzel and Italian ice for dessert.  Back at home about 9:30 p.m. and pajamas on, teeth brushed and lights out (except Eli reading her Kindle).  When I went to bed at 11:00 p.m. both girls were asleep.

A good day 🙂
