Enjoying the Journey

(My peonies that I cut to be able to enjoy indoors – truly one of my favorite flowers)

Let me just note for the record – this has been such a delightfully beautiful spring.  Perfect weather for most of it, and really there hasn’t been any need for the air conditioning (my budget is thankful for that ;-))

I took a couple of days off from blogging – feeling in a bit of a funk, but that passed rather quickly.  Sometimes we all get caught up in what we perceive is not going right in our lives – instead of focusing on our accomplishments and achievements – in other words, the good stuff AND learning to enjoy the process as we evolve, grow and thrive.  The next time I’m feeling down, I’m going to do what someone made me do today – list all of the good stuff that has happened recently – the things I’ve achieved.  It’s like an antidepressant without the side effects!

On Tuesdays Time Out, we made a mini album which you can see here.  I was so out of it that day, I even left my brand new $40 Fiskars Trimmer (which I got for 50% off at AC Moore with a coupon) at the store.  Luckily, I put my name on it and one of the staff members located it and put it aside for me.

I've received all of the photos I ordered for Creating Keepsakes University Houston from the Kodak Gallery, so I’m getting everything together in one spot to be packed.  I can't believe CKU is less than a week away!  I'm really going to try to blog while I'm there, but no promises.
