Fall is Here.

I was away for a few days, and when I came back home, fall had arrived in full force.  I really enjoy this time of year, but am also saddened because I know winter and much shorter days are not too far away.

Staring to feel a little more motivated.  Reading other blogs and especially focusing on photography blogs and those selling photography in Etsy.  I have also recently picked up several books dedicated to getting your cottage industry up and running:  Handmade Marketplace:  How to Sell Your Crafts Locally, Globally and Online, by Kari Chapin, Creative, Inc. The Ultimate Guide to Running a Successful Freelance Business, by Meg Mateo Ilasco and Joy Deangdeelert Cho, Craft, Inc.:  Turn Your Creative Hobby Into a Business, by Meg Mateo Ilasco.

Taking that first step is so hard.  I did get accepted into the Muddy Creek Artists Guild.   They are having a show in December, and I am going to have some of my photographs available for sale.  Deciding on which ones is going to be the hard part.

It's pretty much time to stop reading and surfing and studying, and get out there and go for it.
