Following + Routines = Order

DSCN1619

My routine with Zachary — throwing him the ball as often as possible.  He is intently waiting for me to throw the ball — about the only time I can get his undivided attention.

Finally, after many struggles, I have developed routines that fit my life.  These routines provide order, minimize chaos, and keeps me on schedule.  Dogs are very schedule oriented too.  They know at a certain time they need to be let out, to be fed, to be walked, to play ball — perhaps that's what I've learned from Zachary — routines are comforting.

My routines on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be changing dramatically beginning August 25th.  I'm taking two courses at the community college, two courses I'm really psyched to take — Black and White Photography and Drawing.  I'm actually looking forward to going to school and taking classes I'm interested in instead of courses I need to fulfill some degree requirement (which is what I always did before).  On Tuesdays and Thursdays I need to be out of the door and in the car by 8:00 a.m.   Photography starts at 9:00 a.m. and Drawing at 11:00 a.m.

I'm also getting back into a regular scrapbook routine.  When I went to CKU – Houston, I received some really cool products.  One of the product lines I loved so much, I bought more of it recently:

These are products from Little Yellow Bicycle's Vita Bella Collection.  I just love all of the rich colors.  The collection can be purchased from Scrapbook.com.
