(This post inspired by one Ali Edwards posted back in June).
Outside my window
I am thinking this is my last free day before school starts tomorrow, but I am excited for the new semester to begin. I’m taking History of Photography, Photographic Lighting, and Color Photography.
I am thankful for the opportunity to take classes I love instead of ones needed to obtain a degree.
From the kitchen
I am wearing jean capri pants and a magenta t-shirt.
I am creating gigantic paper sunflowers (inspired by Paper Source) and vacation travel scrapbooks.
I am going to seriously focus on diet and exercise. I can’t seem to motivate myself to adapt a more healthy lifestyle. (This is definitely been a struggle for me throughout my adult life).
I am reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I saw the movie first and am now reading the book. I want to read New Moon as well before the movie comes out this fall.
I am hoping to go to the Outer Banks in October. I’ve never been, and am looking forward to exploring a new destination.
I am hearing local artist Laura Brino’s CD ElePhant. She is an amazing talent. I met her last fall in my black & white photography class.
Around the house the cats are sleeping on the day bed in my office, and Zachary is asleep in his bed. (I am a little worried about him – he’s panting more than usual, and is more lethargic than I’d like – perhaps today is a good day for a LONG walk…)
