In three weeks and three days I will begin my journey down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon with Friends of Arizona Highways Photo Workshops. I am getting really excited for this once in a lifetime journey. I ordered the recommended Grand Canyon River Guide from Amazon this morning. I am slowly collecting needed articles of clothing not currently in my arsenal. I am on the hunt for a quality rain suit with a hood (that costs less than $150). The trick for me is not to pack too many clothes. Your duffel bag can't weigh more than 25 pounds. I think the camera equipment I plan to bring is going to be fine. In fact, I need to call Arizona Highways and find out about any restrictions on camera equipment. I am definitely shooting digital, but also want to shoot film, color and black and white.
