Last Day of Camp Kathy…

Yesterday was the last day of Camp Kathy.  We got up and got ready.  The weather report was for upper 90s and heat indecies 105 and above.  So, a good day for shopping.  I haven't been taking as many photos as I thought I would this week.  The girls each got gift cards from Camp Kathy to Bath & Body Works, Target, and Old Navy.  The plan was to go to Bath & Body Works in the mall, then to Target (and Paper Source) and Old Navy and then lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.

As soon as we get to the mall, I tripped and pulled something in my knee, and it was SO painful to walk, but I managed to down some Alleve and hobble along.  I didn't want the girls to miss out on using their gift cards.  I managed to get through shopping and a late lunch at Ruby Tuesdays, and then came home and put ice on my knee while the girls entertained themselves.

I wanted to finish off the week at the Farmer's Market in North Beach with a walk on the Boardwalk and ice cream.  We did make it to the market and got ice cream, and my friend Nanette met us there.  We just didn't do too much walking around.  We stopped by Nanette's house so the girls could see Nanette's new kittens, Elvis and Priscilla.  The kittens were a big hit with the girls.  Nanette and the girls really hit it off as well this week.

We got home, and I settled the girls in my room (watching the movie Cars again).  Lights out for them at 10:30 p.m. and began gathering up their stuff in one pile in the living room to pack up in the morning.  I was in bed shortly after 11:00 p.m.
