This is one of my pages from the 365 day in the life project from Becky Higgins. I added ephemera from the vacation with Mom to the four little pocket inserts (there are cards that came with the kit that you can insert, but so far I haven't used them). I also used one of the photo inserts for my own journaling:
Sorry for the quality of the photo, I need to lay the book flat and re-photograph, and I will do that in the near future. I just wanted to give an idea about how my book was coming along. In the four slots in the middle, I put pieces of what's going on in my life right now — especially bits of my mail (that tip from Ali Edwards).
The two-page spread, except that the left page belongs to the preceding page for that week and the page on the right is for this week which I am finishing up. Not a perfect system, but it is working for me. For the 4 slots this week I got information from my health insurance company and from the Census Bureau, and a postcard from Homestead Gardens (which I have not been to since December).
Get outside and enjoy this beautiful weekend!
I plan to…
