Ali Edwards wrote a post about her summer manifesto in a recent post, and challenged her readers to creatone one as well, and Elise Blaha stepped up to the challenge. I thought that was a great idea, and have created my own manifesto for the summer of 2012:
- Practice gentle self care;
- Spend LOTS of time on my patio bird watching and enjoying the weather;
- Grill out more often;
- Explore the Chesapeake Bay;
- Take photographs of the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds with their wings frozen;
- Go on more picnics;
- Go camping more than once;
- Photograph the ponies of Assateague;
- Host Camp Kathy;
- Try new recipes;
- Go to the beach;
- Go to the pool;
- Reconnect with old friends.
I am sure there are other things I've forgotten, but I'll include them on my list as I think of more things.
Have a great weekend everyone!
