Off to a Good Start

December 1a
Today's photo of a Black-Eyed susan in bloom in my front yard.  Unbelievable.  I don't ever remember having flowers still blooming on the 1st of December.  No hard freeze yet, but I fear it's coming this weekend.

The first entry of my Christmas Journal.  You can participate here.  You pay $32 once and then every year you receive all of the daily prompts.  Good deal.

Yesterday consisted of a busy morning of running around, grocery shopping, and rushing to be home by 2:00 p.m. to sign for a UPS delivery, which didn't arrive until well after 7:00 p.m.  No worries.  Put up the outdoor Christmas decorations, and some things need adjustments (as in not all of the lights are working, and the blow up Santa isn't blowing up).  Minor glitches that need to be worked out.

Kiki has an appointment with the holistic veterinarian this morning.  She's doing so much better — I'm relieved.  Hopefully, this vet will have some natural remedies to keep Kiki healthy.

Today is the last day of official classes.  Next week are finals.  Glad this semester is over.  It's been a busy one.
